Cougar in neighborhood

Nice picture of Cougar. Please be sure to keep lids on trash cans and keep dog and cat food inside. DO NOT approach them as they are wild animals with survival instincts.

You should report cougar sightings to the Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife (WDFW) by calling them at (425) 775-1311. This helps them monitor wildlife activity and ensure public safety.

For non-emergency poaching or violation reporting, or non-emergency predatory wildlife incidents, call 877-933-9847, or submit an online report. You can also text your poaching/violation tip to 847411 (TIP411).

“predatory wildlife,” defined as cougars, wolves, black bears and grizzly bears.
