Updated 9 February 2026: <Water District 2026 Improvement Plan>

East Gig Harbor Water District is in the process of getting all necessary parts in place for a Water Main Pipe replacement that will run from the wellheads on Goodman north to 89th, and down 86th toward the Randall Dr Boat launch. This work will likely happen in the summer of 2026. Construction will not interrupt service and should only provide occasional disruption of travel. All construction will have flaggers and one plus might be that some drivers will actually be encouraged to slow down a bit!

The EGH Water District has postponed the 89th Street and Randall Drive loop Water service line install until spring of 2026 due to some engineering issues that need to be worked out. As soon as we get a firm date for the start of that project we will post that information when available...
